Bought and tried to assemble it. Shop staff inspected the item and claim that it is defective. Did not believe him, let him set up and turned out it didnt worked out the way it is.
Item also arrived in damaged box, possibly damaged during transit.

Of all the ~$200 boards, this is probably your best bet. A great balance between performance, price, and perks. Doesn't have all the (unnecessary) extras of those $300+ boards, but who needs them? Make sure your components, especially DRAM, are on the ASUS QVL and you should be golden. I am running a 3700X with Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 DDR4 and Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super.

Solid mobo with a Ryzen 5 3600

Was so happy to get a solid mobo after having bad luck with other motherboards I bought online. This is sitting on a test bench right now and has been burning in for 48hrs straight and has been rock solid with temps. Asus bios is pretty straight forward. I did have to set DOCP for it to recognize my RAM as 3200 cl14. Default was showing it as 2400mhz. I like that the layout is simple, has ample fan headers and the io isn't crowded. There is rgb but it's a small subtle strip by the chipset active cooler and i'm totally fine with that. If you are looking for the Unicorn puke in your face RGB then this isn't your board. Didn't opt for the wireless version because this build is for gaming and Wired > Wireless.

Wrong location for the chipset cooling fan

The location of the chipset cooling fan is bad. When you install a sizable video card in the main PCIE slot, it can easily end up blocking the air inlet of the chipset cooling fan. ASUS could not have chosen a worse spot than this.

Upgrading from a Asus Striker II from 2008. This board appealed to me because it was right to the point and no frills. Was very excited to get it and install my Ryzen 9 x3900 cpu and 32 gigs of DDR 4. When I received it and open the box it looked as it was just tossed in there with no packaging materials at all. Well it booted up fine. I Familiarized my self with bios and I performed a upgrade via the EZ bios update utility. After that it was down hill. The board was stuck on the ASUS "TUF" splash screen. Took out the cmos battery, un plugged every thing and nada. Was on the forums related to this mobo and quite a few folks have experienced this issue after a bios update. Not really happy about this. I'm returning this item and trying another X570 mobo. I really wanted to like this board.

Avoid a bad time

No RAM recognition, not any display, no any of BIOS beeps (listed on manual page 2-15) and no matter what components I remove or add, the OnBoard LED Orange DRAM is ALWAYS on (suggesting a RAM issue, however the RAM is a HyperX 2x8GB DDR4 3200Hz brand new)

Tried different RAM configurations (tried putting them in different slots as well as individual) and remove all non-essential hardware but no success, the result is always the same: OnBoard Orange LED is always on
I even tried running the system without BIOS and that LED stills on.

Already contacted Amazon Support and they suggest the best is to return the item.

What a disappointment even though I was confident because previous reviews (and in the Wifi Version reviews as well), months waiting for this build for this motherboard to fail.
