Great value budget laptop!

Great value for money laptop. Easily upgradeable. Removed the 4 GB RAM and added 2 x 8 GB, as it only supports max. 16 GB. added a 256 GB SSD easily as it came with the bracket, screws & SATA connector.
Great full HD IPS screen. Only weakness is the CPU, but adequate for general use. Quite light at 1.8kg for a 15.6" laptop, well built, quite slim. Note to buyers, update the Wifi drivers from Intel and graphics drivers from AMD. you can tell the difference in performance and remove all the Acer bloatware lol .
Oh, and super fast shipping by DHL via Air, only took a few days from US to SG, and free shipping with Prime!

Don’t be honest with your child’s age if you need them to have access to YouTube for there school. This is truly absurd. This is the reason for the o e star. This is absolutely crazy. There are no options to change this. I cannot even go into the settings and change this. I would have to completely reset the whole thing and would have to create a new account and loose everything. They could have allowed kids YouTube at least!
My other daughter who is only 3 years older has complete access with no parental controls at all. Maybe there is something I don’t know?

Terrible buy. Can't read any of my USB drives. Despite my settings it prints white on black! Phone support is thrash. No data link to cell phone for validation. They demanded entering entire serial number on line. When I tried reading it to the agent. Disconnected 🤬.

La laptop llegó en excelentes condiciones, era exactamente como leí en reseñas y cumplía con todas las especificaciones, era un dispositivo muy veloz y eficiente. Sin embargo, hace una semana la laptop dejó de funcionar, la llevé a reparar por aparte, ya que la garantía no aplica en México. Hoy que la fui a recoger me dijeron que la laptop es irreparable, se quemó la tarjeta madre, a causa de que el cargador no era original. A pesar de que éste venía en la caja original. Entonces, ahora tengo una laptop inutilizable y donde no aplica la garantía por el cargador. Yo no sabía que éste último no era original, entonces les recomiendo que verifiquen antes de cualquier cosa.

Unos de los ganchos que sujeta la ram no funciona, no se puede saber si las mayúsculas están activadas o desactivadas, para conectarle audífonos necesitas reiniciar la laptop si no no funciona....

son muchos detalles que la verdad preferiría pagar mas por otra laptop....

Excelente equipo pero tuve el inconveniente de que el ventilador hacía ruido al momento de abrirlo para ponerle m2 note que una de las Aspas del abanico estaba rota por lo cual estaba atrapada el ventilador por lo cual hacía muy ruido enciendo 15 a 20 segundos espero que las mejoras encienda más rápido y algo difícil quitar la tapa
