Although I'm not through yet, I can already say: it is worth reading it because it gives you the chance (or at least it does it for me) to reflect your own business situation with the insights from the book - and that gave me already some nice learnings (e.g. the topic about striving towards a 2-weeks-pattern in leveling: let me quote "If you can't even reliable produce tomorrow what you planned today, a multi-week pattern will increase chaos..." - great, this is exactly what I also experienced so far, but nobody wants to hear it.
Good illustrations, easy reading,...I'm curious on the rest of the book...

Prof. Dr. Christoph Roser is an expert for lean production. He learned the Toyota Production System while working for Toyota in Japan for 5 years, and further practicing it at McKinsey and Bosch. He is professor of Production Management at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. His interests are in everything related to lean manufacturing, bottleneck detection and management, and historic developments of manufacturing. He is well known for his lean blog, AllAboutLean.com.

I cannot imagine a better book on this subject matter! Christoph Roser has a surgical approach to the way he breaks down these methodologies with wonderful graphics to render the complex so much more comprehendable for his readers. Outstanding job from a titan in this field of Lean knowledge!
