One of my previously starved rescues bolts his food like he's never seen food in days! He'd eat so fast he'd vomit.
I was sceptical because the holes aren't deep but they do have a cup to them to make it a little hard. I tried to pull kibble out with my fingers and couldn't get it all in one pull!
The dish is only about 3 inches high and about 10 inches square.
The dish WILL slide on hard floors. It's not heavy, but is nice quality plastic.
I am thinking about buying more for the rest of my 9 dogs!
The photo shows a 60lb dog.
The dish is loaded with 1/8 can wet and 1 cup dry

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Slow Feeder
Reviewed in the United States on 17 November 2018
I bought this slow feeder not because my dog eats really fast but to teach him to pace his eating to prevent bloating per our Vet. I bought another brand that’s round and swirling but the height of the swirling walls on some part were too high for my dog to access the kibbles, we always have to move the kibbles on the lowest part which is always a pain. But now, that significantly changed. He is now independently finishing his food without any of us needing to move his food around. That’s a win win win! It helps that this product really looks good with a bright color and a very sturdy solid design. The inner wall height in the middle is about 1/4 inch and transitions higher as it goes out the periphery to about half inch or slightly less. The outer wall is significantly higher to hold the food in place. So cool that the design is artsy with the bottom black strip (slip free) only going probably around 90% then 10% of it remains the orange material. I have a medium sized dog about 20-25 lbs. for size reference and a full cup kibbles evenly distributes around the feeder. Nothing beats the quality and price point of this slow feeder.
