The Ansell ActivArmr 97-003 nitrile coated heavy laborer glove, medium size, is knit from a blend of stainless steel fiber and Kevlar fiber (also known as aramid fiber) to help protect against cuts, and it has a foam nitrile coating on the palm and fingertips to facilitate gripping objects under wet or dry environmental and gel foam padding on the palm to help protect from vibrations and impact stress. Ansell's knitted variable stitch design (KVSD) provides dexterity and breathability. The cuff has an adjustable wrist closure with pull tab for comfort and an ID nameplate on the inner cuff for personal identification. This glove meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Level 4 standards for cut and abrasion resistance, and ANSI Level 2 standards for puncture resistance. It is suitable for handling concrete, wood, metal debris, and other materials.Work gloves help protect the hands, can cover the wrists, and sometimes extend to cover part, or all, of the arm. Work gloves are typically constructed from leather or heavy cotton and are suitable for use in construction, mechanical, landscaping, and do-it-yourself applications to help protect against minor cuts and abrasions. Work gloves for use in manufacturing and construction industries can be made of woven, high-strength synthetic fiber to resist cuts from heavy machinery and withstand high levels of heat without melting. Work gloves may also be made of, or include, flame retardant material for use in welding and other heavy-duty applications.Ansell manufactures gloves and protective clothing. The company, founded in 1905, is headquartered in Red Bank, NJ.

These are go to gloves, the only thing to be aware of are the wear points. Palms are totally good. Index fingers and back of hand are areas that tend to wear out before the glove does. That and the wrist fabric tears loose of sewn in tab, over time as you put them on, requires that you pull and material gives way. Other than that, I buy these often, in hopes that these areas improve over time.

This would be the 3rd pair of ansell gloves, I have not been disappointed with them until now.......

As you can see in the pictures the “pointer finger” of the glove is completely sewn off so no matter what I do I can not put that finger into the glove.
I’m aware things happen but this is just annoying and now I can’t use the glove.
