I can remmeber when I was in seventh grade, and I usually went to an after-school study hall so that I could have a quiet place to do my homework. It was my dad who wanted me to be in a more quiet environment without any distractions, and I could not have been more grateful. While at these sessions, this book just so happened to be on the bookshelf, and I would often read through a few chapters here and there when I had nothing else to do. I was 14 at the time, and this book made me realize why parents had always placed limitations, regarding what I could and could not do at a younger age while I was growing up.
Now being 27 (soon to be 28 next month), I decided to pick up my own copy of this book to get an insight on Cynthia Whitham's constructive approaches as a full-grown adult, especially since I think I might like to have kids of my own someday (should I meet the right girl, hehe). If so, I know this book will definitely come in handy.

She laughed and said she may use it. It was 1c plus $3.99 s+h. Couldn't afford a new copy. Got more important stuff to buy like my video games.
