If I could I would return every other casual jacket I have ever purchased and just buy an extra one of these to leave in my go bag in my car in addition to the one in my jacket. As it stands I ordered a second one for the go bag and feel guilty about the unused jackets hanging in my closet.

I also purchased the version of this same jacket without the interior lining thinking that one would be better for warmer temperatures... I was wrong! This jacket does a beautiful job of equalizing my body temperature without causing me to ever get an uncomfortable sweat layer regardless of how hard I was sitting, walking, hiking, scrambling up inclines, and snowboarding in humid environments with wind, light-heavy rain, and sleet/snow from the high 20's to mid 80's, I haven't tried it yet in weather outside of that range.

Positives:
I haven't found another jacket that kept me warm and dry, without causing an uncomfortable layer of sweat condensation when the activity or weather notched up. So the wicking features of this jacket are absolutely top notch.

Negatives:
I would say cost... But honestly if I consider this could be your only non-work plain clothes jacket, it's a bargain when you consider functionality versus total cost of ownership

Pros: Features, materials, comfort, quality. This jacket does almost everything: it's comfortable for daily use; it's good looking for a night out; it's got plenty of pockets; and the quality is top-shelf.
Cons: For $300, the cuffs are a poor design: they're fixed size, and difficult for me to get my hands in, and even more so out of. Arteryx could take a lesson from their competition over at Columbia or North Face who employ velcro solutions to similar jackets, for far less money.
Verdict: I'd love to give this 5 stars, but the cuff design is a pretty serious flaw, so I've got to bump it down. It's a pity, because everything else about the jacket is so spectacular.

Don't eat or it wont fit

I ordered the same size i order all my jackets in. Unless you're a twig, you're not getting into this thing. I am not overweight at all. The main issue is that I cannot fit my hands through the cuff and it is NOT adjustable. I have tiny hands ... My marmot I have had for 8 years is, half the price and adjustable. Figure'd I'd see what all the fuss was about but it's just overpriced, poorly designed made in Vietnam (like all outdoor stuff the Granolas buy now) for 3 times the price.

I bought to replace an Arteryx jacket that had a high pile of lining, this was closest one I could find to it.. This jacket is below average in warmth in 40- 55 degree days. The arms are about 1.5 inches to long compared to other manufactures in the same size.

I have three other Arteryx jackets and I love them but I would NEVER buy (again) or recommend this one to someone
