I'm a type 1 diabetic, and have had surgery where I've been advised to drink a lot of protein drinks. Pretty much every other brand of "protein shakes" that I've tried taste horrible, have too many carbs, or have more protein in them that can be absorbed with one serving (and cost more or are nowhere near as good as Atkins shakes, lol).

Atkins shakes are exactly what I need! They've got exactly enough protein per serving, the amount of carbohydrates are perfect, and taste amazing. I haven't had a flavor yet that I didn't like (and that's saying a lot). Vanilla, in my opinion, is one of the best tasting though. I drink Atkins shakes often, and recommend them to anyone looking for a drink to get their protein without all the extra carbs.

This is probably the best Protein Drink RTD you can buy but in my opinion the Dark Chocolate Royale is the best! I just wanted to try this flavor so that I coiuld use it at night instead of the Chocolate one. After trying this flavor and the regular Milk Chocolate flavor, I am still a solid fan of the Dark Chocolate Royale. However, as I have mentioned in one of my previous reviews, if you use more than 2 drinks, it can give you constipation Because of the ingredient which is a thickener and widely used in RTD Protein Drinks. By the way, this is the best protein drink for diabetic people because it has the right fat content which buffers the increase insulin level which increases if you use a low fat protein drink. If you want a good protein drink with lower fat, then I recommend the Premier Protein in Chocolate flavor which in my opinion is best flavor.

So so so good. I have been low carb since this past January and these shakes have really helped. I’ve lost 20lbs. Following low carb/Atkins diet. Honestly they hold me for 2 hrs then I feel a little hungry also they are delicious. I get me son to drink them whe I need him to have protein and he loves them.
