Beginners headphone stand

The reason I purchased this headphone stand was for my Steel Series headset. Instead of just a curved headset resting on your head, it comes with an elastic band, which rests perfectly with this headstand. One of the issues I have for this product is that the circular rubber mat is forcefully squeezed on both ends which lock the mat in place.
Listed below is my opinion of the over all product.

Adhesion: 3/5 There's not really a adhesive, but more of a place mat which is inserted into the metal frame. (See pictures) I've moved my stand from point A to point B a few times, and it's came apart, making a whole mess. You're going to want to make sure that the metal frame fits snug into the rubber place mat.
Sturdiness: 4/5. Once you've placed the frame with the mat, this product will stand soundly by its own. The product looks pretty cool, and does it job.

Material Quality: 4/5. The product itself is just two objects. The frame and the place mat for you're cables. Neither of these are cheap, except maybe the thick plastic mat.
Overall: 3. I would suggest this for a beginner headphone stand. It's only 20.00$, and you get what you pay for. This isn't the BEST on the market, but it works, and works well. If you're wanting RGB functions or something that requires no assembling, you may not want this.
TLDR: Silicone pad, not really a "base". kind of flimsy, can only stand on flat even surfaces. The price is alright for what you pay for.

Cheap and unstable.

The way this thing goes together is laughable. It's literally an inch-and-a-half wide metal l bracket you slip a flimsy silicone tray (not a base).

The weight of your cable either hanging from your headphones or sitting in the tray will PROBABLY keep it from tipping over. It's like a Weeble.

The price is JUST at that point where I'm not going to bother returning it, but it's definitely not worth $19.99, $14.99 maybe.

The second star was gained from the contoured silicone holder, which I like because it wont wear on the head padding like others might.

Overall though, I don't recommend this, and probably should have done further browsing of others first. This was the first time I've ever gone with "Amazon's Choice" and it didn't live up to expectations.

It looks nice for being so cheap in quality. It will do the job it is intended for but I personally do not like the flimsy silicone base and headset rest. The only sturdy portion is the metal stand itself. If the base and the headset rest parts were made of sturdy plastic coated with silicone then i would like this stand more. As it is I personally do not believe it's worth $25.00. If this had cost me $15 or less then i would not be so disappointed.

Avantree contacted me to offer another product at the same price. It seems they care about their customers and want to see us happy. I returned the silicone stand and purchased their bamboo stand.

The bamboo stand is so much better. It has the sturdy base I was looking for and it is actually taller than the stand with the silicone base. If you are going to spend $25 then buy this one.

I was looking through Amazon for a perfect headphone stand for my very valuable headphones, and this is it. Other ones have flaws here and there with the design but this one is perfect. It doesn't ruin the top padded part of the headphones, and have a convenient tray for cable. The size is perfect too as long as your headphones are not enormous.

I bought a second stand as soon as I opened the first one. The picture shows my two headphones on the stand: Sennheiser HD 800s and Sennheiser GAME ZERO. Both headbands are not pushed all the way in, so the stand should be able to hold much bigger headphones.

Feels pretty cheap, but gets the job done. Arrives in 3 pieces - metal arm/leg, bottom silicone cup/base, top silicone headphone rest.

The silicone pieces slide on. The product is basically support by the arm, which doubles as a leg. Some of the silicone base sits flush on whatever surface it rests on, but not perfectly. Wobbles kind of easily, but doesn't seem like it'll actually fall over.

Biggest reason I like this product? The silicone headphone rest - the fact that it's silicone, and it is long/wide and contoured. It has some flex to it, so it'll contour to the headband pretty well. It also distributes the weight of the headphones across a large portion of the band, rather than a small square location like most headphone stands. Over time, many other headphone stands might leave an impression in the headband (especially if a cushion material). This stand should not do this since again, it has a large support area. The support is basically the exact same width as my HD 800 S headband, so it doesn't sit inside the "channel" but sits perfectly on top of the silicone. The product description clearly revealed this before I even ordered it, but again, this is the only product I can find that shouldn't harm the headband cushion over time. My headphones sit just fine up there, and I have no fear they would ever slip off. My headphones also have plenty of room at the bottom even with the headband fully extended.

If not for the simple, yet good design and material of the headphone support itself, this product would get a 1 or 2 star rating for the price - it's just cheaply put together... but it works well.
