Watch Them Rolllll!
Your little one will love pounding the balls through the shoot and watching them roll down. This toy improves hand-eye coordination and aiming skills! Watch out for that finger! They will eventually master this skill and might even be able to do it with their eyes closed. This toy is so engaging that they’ll play for hours.
Great For Development
This toy is perfect for developing your baby’s motor skills and sensory growth. They experience the hitting of the ball, the sound of it rolling through and the little mirror where they can see themselves and the toy. It’s a great cause and effect toy and it will get them giggling too.
Includes four colorful balls – whack them and watch them go! Equipped with a mirrored background, makes it twice as whacky. The hammer squeaks, the wheels spin and the balls bang.

It is a great skill-builder when they hit about 1yo and is a great way to teach cause-effect and also multiple steps/stages (place balls on top, hit or push with hand, they come out the bottom) from a development perspective. And B.Toys make great, durable and very nice looking toys.
We previously had the Battat (parent company) version, but as it was brought outside eventually as part of water table play, when we had another baby we got this version as I preferred the look AND the fact that this has 4 working slots/holes for the balls, vs other versions (have a tube just for storage - they go straight down, so only 3 of the openings drop balls into the maze) this one has a place to store the hammer and all 4 holes drop into the maze.
One note - YES this will tip over easily and separate from the base. The base part is annoying to me BUT it became intentional play with both my niece and daughter’s versions of this toy. In our case (once it was just frustrating and not a game) we used silicon sealant to “glue” to the base. We also store this in our gated play area against the base of a climbing toy (we don’t put it at edge of the fence or wall only because our LO gets overzealous so the balls can come flying out and roll out of the playyard vs keeping it towards the interior so it becomes part of the game to race to get the ball(s) and put them on top.
Having had 5 kids and seeing so many seemingly well thought out toys that just sit (all kids are different) this is one of the few toys that all of our children have enjoyed. There are some neat wood versions (which I’ve bought for nephews) but they don’t mostly contain the balls when they “land” so for us, we like when they mostly land in the tray so we can keep playing and/or “race” for me to get the balls back up top while my DD is excited to push them down the shute ASAP!
If you’re looking for your own child in that infant stage where they need something more but aren’t totally mobile yet, this is a GREAT one, esp for 1st bday or Christmas if they are 12-18mos. My 2.5 & 4yo nephews will play with it when they’re over and my 4yo will play it with his sister. So overall, I’d say it’s a solid bet 59 buy for a child 1-2.5 in age. Older kids will play, but I think the bulk of the daily play comes between those ages.
*Note - While I do love and even prefer wood toys for many things, I LOVE that I can sanitize these and not worry about paint fading or wood-grain absorbing and the balls getting slightly too big or too small for the holes.
I absolutely recommend this toy!
