I had an issue with skunk smell from a nearby roadkill or something... nasty... this smell lingered for days... windows open, closed did not matter... from skunk smell to decay smell.
Got this, over nighted because of reviews I read. Skeptical but desperate. Glad I got it Let set with the lid off for a couple hours and there was a great difference. It has a pretty good smell, not overpowering but it is there... but most of all, it appears to have removed the odor and not just cover it up.
When the odor was not completely gone, I removed the sponge and let sit on the lid... hours later (windows closed certainly) there was not detectable trace of the smell remaining. It really does work.
