After night time cleansing, use GloPRO on targeted facial areas (forehead, right side, left side, chin, nasolabial folds-nose to mouth lines). Use moderate pressure and roll GloPRO® over each area 4-10 times, changing direction with each pass. Can be used around the mouth and eye areas. GloPRO should be used for at least 1 minute to ensure skin has been properly stimulated. Skin will appear pink or flushed after using. Apply HydraGLO Serum or serum of your choosing within the first 60 seconds after use while microchannels are active and ready to receive key anti-aging ingredients. GloPRO can be plugged into an electrical outlet during use, but is not necessary. Batteries are installed for cord-free easy use or if an outlet is not accessible. Use the enclosed Sterilizing Spritzer bottle to fill with alcohol and spray MicroTips after each use. Store in plastic case in between treatments. MicroTip head should be replaced every three months if used regularly.

Pretty much pain-free microneedling

I have dry, sensitive skin, and I'm over 50 years old. I've been using an Ora derma roller 2.5mm for the past 2 years and have seen pretty good results. I've been curious about the GloPro.

It arrives with 2 AAA batteries installed, you need to pull out the little battery tab before using. DO NOT use the included cable and plug if the batteries are OK. They aren't rechargeable batteries. Only use the cord and plug if the batteries are depleted and make sure you remove them before plugging the cord in.

You also need to buy your own rubbing alcohol and fill the spritzer bottle. Make sure you sanitize both before and after - you don't want to get a bad skin infection.

Don't bear down on the roller, just use a normal pressure. When moving from straight across, up and down, and diagonal, LIFT the roller. Otherwise you can damage your skin. Use this about 60 seconds, if your targeted area is your face--that's all it takes. I derma roll 3 times a week. Don't overdo it.

I also feel comfortable enough with the GloPro that I've started doing my neck and decollete as well as across my lips, so it takes me about 2 to 2-1/2 minutes total. I feel no need to purchase the separate lip attachment.

Immediately after, I use a couple serums. I'd wait no longer than 30 seconds before applying so have them ready to go. The best I've found so far are from the Mizon (Korean skincare) beauty line, both available here at Amazon but we can no longer put links in our reviews:

Mizon Peptide 500 30ml (first after using the GloPro) and
Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 (after the Peptide Serum).

I think dermarolling has upped the results for me. Remember I started this 2 years ago. The GloPro is different than others because it also uses red light therapy and vibration.

What I find that's really odd is the GloPro has slightly longer needles than the Ora roller I've been using, yet the GloPro is much more comfortable to use. Your face will feel tingly for a couple hours.

Note: The head attachment needs replaced about every 3 months...also make sure you never drop these as you can damage the needles and thus, damage your skin. Be careful!

So why 4 stars instead of 5? I think this is a little pricey for what you get.

I am passionate about beauty care and know how important it is to find beauty products that work as well as intended. I have been micro needling for over five years now and have also used a needle pen. I was very excited to use BeautyBio's GloPRO micro-needling device. I have been using it some time now in replacement of my current micro needling routine and have found that it does not meet my expectations.
The kit comes with 5 GloPRO skin prep pads that I find do not work as well as intended. They dry out quickly and do not remove all impurities even after washing my face. I find if I follow up with other makeup remover pads I end up with additional residue from makeup on the pad. The kit also comes with an empty spritzer bottle. I thought that this was filled with a sanitizing solution but it is meant for my own rubbing alcohol. This was a little surprising that GloPRO does not have a solution in the container. It also comes with the GloPRO tool and charging device.
The GloPro device is similar to a normal micro needling tool but has red light therapy and is battery powered. The battery provides vibrations that are not as strong as I expected. These vibrations are supposed to assist the tool to further penetrate the skin and allow for better product absorption without pain. I already use microneedle devices and use red light therapy and can say that I miss my normal routine. The device does not perform as well as my derma pen/ micro needling pen and performs similarly to my basic .5 microneedle device. I feel like the vibrations are overhyped and my expectations were not met. I am unsure about how strong the red light therapy is compared to other products I use. It does not seem to be as strong.
I think this device works and does allow the product to penetrate into the skin. I think it does have a positive effect on the health of the skin. It does not seem to do much more though than other non-premium products. I feel that this product is good but is overhyped and does what a lot of other basic products already do if not slightly more.

Okay, so apparently Angelina Jolie was using something like this years ago. An article ran about how radiant she looked after the Oscars, and it came out she used something like this (or a minion or dermatologist, more likely) before. I don't know how soon before, but I didn't look radiant. I looked ridiculous.

So, maybe it's different when you are gorgeous and your face is your moneymaker. For me, no such problem. And the idea of inflicting pain on my skin to look radiant just is wrong. I feel radiant after eating chocolate cake. But, I had to try this to make my review something more substantial than, "oh heck no". So I did it. I hated it.

The needles are tiny. They are sterile. They reminded me a bit of the insulin injections I had to use when I had gestational diabetes. Except those didn't hurt, they were injected into belly fat. These are rolling on your face, and so far, my forehead is yet to have a cushion of fat on it. My cheekbones are quite unpadded as well. And I could feel the needles rolling across. So, it was a big no no no for me. Nope. Not gonna.

It's a pricey set, so if you've tried it at the dermatologist and could stand it, this could be for you. Me, I'm far too ugly to inflict that sort of pain. Nope. Bring on the cake!
