The Bialetti Moka celebrates more than 80 years of classic design elegance and technological simplicity. From the early 1950s to the present day, Bialetti has manufactured over 200 million coffee makers. In particular, the Moka Express has become iconic and has allowed millions of consumers to enjoy great Italian coffee.
The Moka produces a rich, authentic espresso in just minutes. The aluminum pot features Bialetti’s distinctive eight-sided shape that allows it to diffuse heat perfectly to enhance the aroma of your coffee.
In Italy, where the kitchen is the heart of the home, where cooking is a passion and where meals bring friends and family together, Bialetti is found in nine of ten households.
Why? Because like every true Italian, cooking is in our soul. And just as Alfonso Bialetti’s Moka Express revolutionized the art of coffee brewing, we’ve been crafting innovations that advance the art of cooking for nearly a century.
Bialetti began in Italy, but has become a leading brand around the world because our high-quality products bring simplicity, functionality and beauty to the kitchen. Our advanced technology and distinctive styling combine to create cookware that’s simple to use and simply beautiful.
Today, the Bialetti family of products has grown. We bring a multitude of styles and colors to market. But our Italian heritage and passion for cooking live on in every line.

Ps: if you start with very hot water in the base of the pot, it will take less time for the water to boil and the coffee to brew, so it will taste a lot cleaner and smooth.
These pots are very durable. Purchased our first one 3 years ago and it's still going strong, just needed a second one so I could stop carrying it from work to home. Tried a full espresso machine, but there are too many parts that can break and the moka pot takes less time to brew.
The coffee is a perfect concentration. Not too strong and not in any way weak - nice and flavorful. Don't do a full espresso grind as it's too small and some of the grounds are lifted up into the pot. The happy medium is between a drip and espresso grind.
We use these for about 5 cups a day and I recommend them to all our coffee drinking friends. They even say my coffee rivals the coffee house and I don't buy the best beans - shop around for an affordable, quality bean (we like Barrismo from Aldi $4/lb - it's fabulous).
Tip: Keep your grounds and scatter them in the garden. The plants love it!
The coffee is truly very good reminds me of the coffee we had in small cafes while we were visiting Italy. Starbucks coffee now tastes very crass and burnt after getting used to this. Got Lavazzo beans and I grind them as needed when brewing.
One thing to remember is that the 3 cups size is in reference to espresso sized cups. from an American coffee serving size level - 3 cups = 3/4 cup size of a Tall coffee in Starbucks...
Please be aware of this... I love this product and the coffee.
The 9-cup Moka Express makes plenty of coffee for us junkies.
