These things are AMAZING. They are magical. If you have a pet that has accidents in the house, these are a MUST HAVE.

After your pet has an accident, all you need to do is open up the packet, place the oad on the accident spot, and then step on the pad to release the magic formula. Leave it there for at least a half an hour or up to 24 hours. Why the discrepancy, you might be asking? Because these pads work on DRIED STAINS. Holla!!!!

My puppy has been driving me bonkers with accidents in the house, but I don't sweat it anymore thanks to these pads. They are seriously miracle workers and I will always have a supply of them in my house going forward.

This is a change to a previous review. Please be advised that this product has changed and that reviews prior to February 2019 do not reflect the current quality of the product. The size of the pads have been reduced dramatically and can be anywhere from 25% to 50% smaller than what they previously were. The size varies dramatically and seems completely random. This could be a quality control issue or a deliberate change in the manufacturing process. The product works, but be advised that this is only a useful product if you have a toy dog or perhaps a cat. This is not a good product if you have medium sized or large dogs. The pads are simply much too small. This is a disappointing change in the quality of this product as it really was a good product. (See previous review below.)

This is an incredibly simple concept, but these things work extremely well. They're highly effective, easy to use and have a pleasant, subtle fragrance.

Worth it!

For years I have used a Bissell Spot Clean machine and that worked great. But it was a pain to take out everytime my cat got sick. I also didn't like the little "UFO circles" that the machine left...but it was worth it instead of the stain. Then I saw these and decided to give them a try. They are WONDERFUL! So easy to use and very effective. I do leave the pads down for about 24 hours just to be sure. You do need to get rid of as much moisture and "other stuff" before using the pad because obviously the pad can't do that! And for some particularly gross or large stains I still use the machine because I think it does a better job on those types. Unfortunately, my cat gets sick... A LOT. So these have been a great time saver!

Oh. My. GOD. I LOVE these and I haven’t even finished had them 24 hours. My mom recommended them because they had an older dog who would mark after their younger dog and with dark red carpets, they couldn’t catch it early. As most of you know, if they go somewhere, it’s almost impossible for any accidents to stop happening in that same spot. I’ve cleaned this stair time and time and time again. If I’m out of the house for too long (life happens!) my two dogs sometimes have an accident. Initially, it would be on the tile, and not that I want any accidents in the house, but it wasn’t the worst thing.
After they pooped and peed on this top step one time, it was like I couldn’t get the smell out of the hall and it’s now a magnet for accidents. I used resolve and usually it cleaned it up alright. After a year in this home, the top step is noticeably darker than others despite many cleanings and deep cleanings with a bissel hand carpet cleaner. These bad boys have been down for 14 hours and the one downside is it DEFINITELY is increasing the urine smell in the stairwell right now, but LOOK at what it’s getting up!!! I’m honestly ashamed but mostly amazed. I’m hoping it will do the same as it did for my mother and no longer encourage them to go there. One more con is that they are a little small so I will probably use all 24 on this step to get it completely clean. But I don’t care because it’s working!!

Tl;dr
These pick up old old stains very well and are SUPER effective.
Pros: easy to use, decently priced, pick up old set in stains and new
Cons: small sized product so for a large surface area you need a lot of them, as it picks up the stain it increases any smell, but my thought is it’ll be gone for good after I throw them out so I ain’t mad.

If you have pets and any carpet in your home, you NEED these.

OMG I am SO HAPPY that they are making these again. They are the absolute best. Nothing comes close! I even called and wrote to Bissell twice when they discontinued thus item asking them to bring it back. Then I bought all I could from Aamon and on eBay. Now they are back!

I have an older dog who sometimes has accidents and NOTHING works as well and as easily as these.

Some people say they are small but I say they are perfect! In fact, because they are relatively expensive, I cut these into small pieces and use just what I need. If you rub the pad into the carper it will completely remove the stain. Stomp on it and leave it there. The stain will be gone. I seal the bag with a bulldog clip to keep the remaining pad moist.
