The patented mixing system—with a 316 surgical-grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. A wide mouth makes it easy to add ingredients, and the rounded base ensures thorough mixing and easy cleanup. Bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout, to prevent the spread of germs. Embossed markings show both ounces and milliliters for easy measuring. The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle can also be used as a water bottle. frfr...get you one, these are the original and best Blender Bottles out there.
I’ve never ever had an issue with these bottles breaking, cracking or anything like that and I’m clumsy as they come. I own several of these bottles just never had it in this size which is very convenient for me 😁
I’ve blended everything from thick protein shakes to to go flavor packs and they all blended super well...plus everything is super easy to clean
(Important fact: 1st DO NOT USE HOT LIQUIDS IN THESE BOTTLES THEY ARE NOT MEANT FOR THAT, THEY WILL DEFINITELY CRACK...THAT’S WHAT THERMOS ARE FOR

2ND BE CAREFUL WITH PUTTING SODA IN THESE BOTTLES THE PRESSURE WOULD PROBABLY MAKE THE TOP POP OPEN AND THEN YOU GOT A HOT A** MESS ON YOUR HANDS)

Is it me or is the sizing off?

I thought I was purchasing the 20 oz. shaker, but I noticed how small it was when I got it. The shaker says 12 oz. on it. The picture also shows 12 oz., but's it's advertised as a 20 oz. bottle. The other pictures are not accurate either. Some people were saying if I filled it to the top it's 20. Not true. If it's a 20 oz. shaker it should say 20 oz. on the bottle. A 2 cup measuring cup says 2 cups on it. What's the difference? I've tried twice and both times I was sent a 12 oz. shaker.

Great bottle! This is my first blender bottle and I am pleasantly surprised that the blender ball scraped all the powder off the bottom and incorporated it perfectly into the water. Other reviews say that it is hard to open but I'm glad for that so the chances of it spilling or flying open while shaking are nearly impossible. Also I wouldn't call it hard to open, just secure. I didn't know if I would like the loop part but, when not in use it folds down like its not even there! It is everything I hoped it would be. Will update if I find any flaws.

I've been using BlenderBottles for years now, and this bottle is the perfect to take drink mixes on the go. I needed something to take my 8oz of pre-workout with me to the gym, but dirtying a full 28oz BlenderBottle seemed excessive. This bottle is the perfect size, and the loop makes it super convenient to grab and carry.

The metal shaker is great at mixing. One tip I learned is that you should always add some liquid first before your powders. That way none of the powder gets stuck at the bottom of the bottle.

Update. Months later (embarrassed to say how many months). So, apparently there is no missing piece to my cup, it's all built into the lid and I wasn't pushing down on the lid hard enough (that's what she said) and my previous 3 star review was misleading. Here's my recovery story?
Since this product had such high reviews I decided to buy another one.... It wasn't until then that I'd realized i'd been an idiot for all those months... Moral of the story. I now have two working cups in different sizes ;p

I debated writing a review for this item because it Does have such high ratings. Like everyone else, I took my cup and started playing with the top mouthpiece; noticed it was loud and a little hard to open and close. Filled it with water and tested it's quality and threw it in the top section of the dishwasher for it's first washing. I never got to hear that loud clicking again because the seal disappeared. I've looked everywhere and it's nowhere to be found. Needless to say, I never got the chance to use my leak-proof cup. Great quality otherwise and I DO still use it so leaving three stars.
