This must surely be the most sensible comprehensive and useful book on leadership out there. It's also very accessible and enjoyable to read. The author breaks the book into 38 bite-size chapters divided into three main areas - yourself, your team and your organisation all of which can easily be applied. If you read and take action this book has all you need to improve your leadership and results.
So much useful information in this book. I have managed a team for a while but wanted to develop my leadership skills. It's not heavy and is easy to pick up and put down, I dont feel it's overly padded out either. Would recommend!
well worth a read! of course there are so many books on 'leadership' it can be very hard to sort the wheat from the chaff, but Anthony's book is definitely worth reading. As another reviewer has already said it is rare to find someone who is a great interviewer and also a very readable writer - and Anthony is both! An interesting, funny and valuable read for would be leaders, experienced leaders and also for leadership coaches and practitioners
I have followed Anthony's insightful work with business leaders through his popular interviews and events for a number of years and was intrigued to hear that he had extended these into a book. It is as fun, engaging and insightful as his face to face interviews and is a really practical tool for all those involved in leadership. Well written and a highly enjoyable read.
