The Soundlink Revolve speaker has to go on the dock a specific way for it to charge. I find myself having to line up the notch so that it will fit properly every single time. I'm sure they could have found a way to charge the speaker any way you put it on the dock. Another thing is if you bump the speaker while it's on the dock it'll fall over pretty easily so be careful.
The next issue is that it cost $30 but it really should have come free with the $200 or $300 Soundlink speaker. You don't even get a second charger with this, you have to use the one that came with your soundlink speaker. Again for $30 it should come with a second charging cable and wall adapter. People do like to move their portable speaker without having to lug around their only charger for it.
I guess if i can afford the speaker then I can afford the dock but I also don't like to be nickle and dimed by a quality company like Bose.
Also for the retail price of $30, I was very disappointed that it didn't even come with it's own power cord. It is literally jut the cradle itself. You have to use the one that comes with the soundlink speaker, which is ridiculous. At least provide the cradle with its own power cord if we have to buy it separately.
I don't understand why Bose did not include this cradle with the speaker in the first place.
To put the speaker on the stand, you have to make sure the C and the four metal pieces line up. It's not as easy as a wireless charger where you just put it down however you like.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to others- save your money and just use the charging cord that comes with your bose speaker. I feel this cradle is unnecessary and the design is flawed. My boyfriend said he rather just plug the charging cable directly into the Soundlink device than to have to bother with the cradle.
