These classic salty-sour Umeboshi have been matured for three years and are one of CHINRIU's most recommended items! Through the maturation process, the plums have developed a beautifully intense flavor, which is slightly less salty than the younger plums, making them easier to eat. Connoisseurs appreciate three years matured umeboshi because of their intense, yet juicy flavor. The first sensation is sour and salty and the second sensation is a long lasting very fruity ume fruit flavor. Only fruits of perfect quality are suitable for the 3 years maturation during which they produce citric acid said to be very beneficial for health. On top of a bowl of white rice, 3 years umeboshi truly represents a classic Japanese dish.

Item leaked all over inside of package.
I absolutely love umeboshi and I was really looking forward to having some... and I was severely let down. Complete waste of money.
