This computer stand works just as well. It doesn't lift the tower quite as high as an under-the-desk mount would, but at least it's not on the ground. Sturdy construction, I only need one to support my giant massive tower (despite some reviewers saying otherwise; perhaps they bought the smaller one).
Only complaint is what other folks have said - the wheels don't wheel very well. So if that's one of your main functions for the stand, look elsewhere. I can still effectively move it around to re-wire, or clean underneath - but its more like dragging four casters than wheels actually doing wheel things.
I have a major problem with the stand, and the problem is my fault. My computer is too big for this stand. It makes it sit too tall and close to the bottom of my desk, and my computer chassis has built-in legs that can not be removed because of a bottom fans and what I didn't calculate was that the stand is just short enough to not be able to be underneath both legs.
With that said, I do like this computer stand alot. The wheels roll nicely on carpetted floors, the structure is firm and steardy, the bottom of the stand is very wide and accepts many different sizes of computer chassis'. My only problem is with the bolts that hold the side panels in place. They come loose very easily, If the stand is going to be sitting in the exact same place and well out of reach of your feet then that's fine. I take my computers to LAN events and conventions so I would prefer something where the side panels would stay put.
Another problem is that the wheels are terrible. Does not slide well and I have wooden floors. 1 star removed again. Value and assembly is the only thing I'd give this product a star to. Star added for fast shipping.
