Mandy Smith was born and raised in Hartlepool, England. She worked in the office of the engineering department for Virgin Atlantic before she took to the skies in 1999. Good Read, I Enjoyed It5 June 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
There are a few technical mistakes in the book, but overall it is a good read. As a retired airline captain who came up by way of a general aviation background, I can say the book is realistic. I appreciated the authors' attitude of "girls just want to have fun." So many of the FAs I flew with took themselves and their position too seriously. Of course, there were times when seriousness and professionalism became required and very important, but most of the time, levity ruled. One final note, I have written my own book, and I hope the authors of "Cabin Fever" also read mine - "Memoirs of an Aviator."

the answer to how much sex and alcohol can be packed into one book....13 December 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
I am not sure if this was supposed to be a farce, but it seems like a straightforward story....gorgeous young woman works incredibly hard for fantastic lifestyle, and proceeds to recount all the encounters and alcohol included, as no extra cost. For such a high risk lifestyle, there is no mention of any problems or issues...just more excesses....not an enjoyable book... this is my first negative review, but it really qualifies for making "sin" so repetitive that it is boring...
Ladies in Red20 October 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
Mandy Smith was an ‘air hostess’ for Virgin Airlines for 10 years and during that time she traveled the world, consumed a lot of alcohol, and had sex with a lot of men. Adventuresome or just trashy? She never mentioned STDs or other results of such promiscuity, but that is understandable, who wants downer reality in describing such a ‘fun’ life. Hard to believe somebody would admit to living that kind of life, but then reaping benefits of a best seller is quite motivating.
Danger zone life in air, water and land.19 October 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
Adventure and wonderful scenery. Earth has all the places to visit. Each city and culture different. Enjoyed the behind the scenes stories. Still love flying and the mannerisms of the whole plane crew. Pilots to the attendants.

Very entertaining and informative13 October 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
Great writing, i read the book in 2 days I really enjoyed the exploits and adventures. There was also a very interesting peak into the pressure and hard work required of flight attendants I highly recommend this peak at a life.
