We have shot this thing with .22 all the way up to a 20 gauge shot gun. I wasnt expecting it to hold up that well after reading prior reviews but this thing really is quite strong. The picture is of it after we shot it with the 9mm. It didn't punch through and didn't even dent it. It only took off the paint. We even hit the frame of it with the 9mm and no bending or anything. I am thoroughly impressed and will update once it takes a few rounds from the 30-06 but even then I'm still super impressed

I did read the other reviewers' opinions before buying this, and yep...they're right again. It arrives in reasonable packaging, fully assembled except for the target stickers. Since others said to clean with alcohol before putting on the stickers I did that, let the residual alcohol dry completely, then put the stickers on and pressed firmly. Took the unit outside and started pinging at it with my Ruger 10/22 rifle from about 25 yards, mainly because I have a convenient tree stump there to set it on.

Results:
STICKERS: One fell off after three or four hits on that target; the other four stayed put just fine
ACTION: The assembly leans forward quite a lot, which means a .22 often doesn't have the punch to flip the targets all the way up. Even so, they do swing nicely when hit and you can tell easily. When one occasionally does flip up, the reset target doesn't pack enough leverage to knock them back down. I put blocks under the front of the legs so it wouldn't lean as much and then did manage to flip the targets up consistently. However, now when they flip up you get them falling down again when you hit the next one.
DURABILITY: Using lead-tipped standard cheapo .22 LR ammunition, each hit put a very shallow dimple in the target at approximately 25 yards. Closer than you'd normally shoot, yes. Several targets were slightly bent when hit near an edge. Definitely do not try a .223 on this thing or it'll be full of holes.

OPINION: I wouldn't buy it again. For 25 bucks it's not expensive but it doesn't work as advertised, and empty Coke cans are both free and recyclable. Plus they dance and jump and are more entertaining to plink away at.

Took this to the range. I bought this so my wife would shoot more than just punching paper.
She enjoyed watching the hits.
That said it will not last long. After 1 range session it is all bent and dented. We used only .22 long rifle cartridges in our Ruger 1022s. We shot at 25 yards to start then moved it to 50 yards.
We'll shoot it till it's completely destroyed which will not take long.

This little thing is indecently fun with .22LR ammunition. It is NOT for centerfire ammo of any kind.

Easy to set up, looks to be durable when used with a rimfire cartridge. On mine, all 4 don't stay up at the same time often (hitting the far right one tends to knock the far left one down, and vice versa), but that just means you still have things to shoot at. .If all 4 do stay up, the reset target works fine. 40 grain 140 ft*lb soft lead round nose .22LR flip these every time at 50 yards. Nice little toy for the range;.

When you set it up, the movable legs come towards the front, aiming at the shooter, so that the target is leaning towards you. If done this way, it will not fall over on a hit and the spinners have a good chance of staying up on the catch bar for the reset function.

One last thing. Don't bother with the stickers, they'll come off after a few hits. Get some fluorescent paint in the color of your choice for the target spots and shoot away.
