I spray the inside with cooking spray, crack open an egg, add a little salt, close it up, and microwave on high for exactly 31 seconds... (your time will vary depending on how cooked you want your egg and/or the wattage of your microwave) After I take it out, I add a little shredded cheese and BOOM - eggy enjoyment!
I eat my egg right out of the container - then immediately wash it.. Easy, peasy...
Yes, I know I can make the same egg in a microwave safe bowl... And I have failed doing that enough, that I get a crappy result. Using the Casabella, what ever the hell the name is, is just about perfect each time. Infact, I could use snack... Egg time.
Second time, we read the instructions on the microwave set to "omelette" using the sensor-based cooking mode which uses a steam sensor to control the cooking. Came out fluffier this time. It still bulged out of the sides during cooking and then shrunk back down with no dripping on the plate.
Would be more useful if this was deeper so we could mix the egg in the cooker instead of having to scramble it in a separate dish and then pour it in. Tried closing & shaking but that method just leaks.
It is fairly easy to clean with a damp soapy microfiber cloth but I was hoping it would be a little more non-stick.
Just pull out a skillet and fry your egg
