I have made many, many, purchases of CeraVe products so when my hands needed tender loving care I turned to a brand that I trusted and had always had success with.
This cream has ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II, Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, is non-irritating and fragrance-free; all things I loved in other CeraVe products. However I was devastatingly disappointed in this CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream. It is very thin and watery (easily comes out of the tube without applying any pressure), to be called a cream - Its more of a lotion consistency. It is also not very absorbent as it has a thin somewhat greasy feeling after applying it to your hands.
I have very dry hands due to multiple washings during the day and wanted a good moisturizer to use at night to help counteract this problem. I wash my hands and while still damp I apply this "cream" and then I put on a pair of gloves and head to bed. The next morning I can still feel dryness and after the very first wash my hands are right back where I started.
This cream is not very effective in helping to repair, restore and protect skin from harmful irritants at all. It does not moisturize severe dry hands and I don't see how it can even work for cracked hands!
This cream works best for people who already have nice supple hands and just want to maintain the softness with nice ingredients. Its a perfect moisturizer for my children, but I do not recommend this cream if you have dry or cracked hands.

is much more effective, get this instead!
