A very nice Bordeaux driven by Merlot. Château Malbat is a family run estate. Fruity and easy, this is the perfect bottle to pair with your meat or cheese platter.
Château Malbat Bordeaux Merlot, Red Wine, 750ml
- Vintage 2017: Silver Medal in Paris
"This dense wine with ripe blackberry flavors is developing well. Attractive fruits and acidity are balanced by still-young tannins that should soften over the next few months" Roger Voss
An attractive wine with bright, juicy fruit and a mouthwatering finish. Its ruby red color reflects the purple notes of its youth. The freshness of its flavor comes from the red and wild berries. The attack on the palate is direct and fruity with cherry notes, typical of the Merlot. With time, it gives way to blended tannins.
Grape varieties: Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon
Pair with BBQ, meat, spicy food, chinese, indian, cheese or pasta.
Château Malbat is a family run estate. Made by Vignobles Rochet the vineyards of Château Malbat consist of 65 hectares in the southern part of the Gironde, on the hills overlooking the River Garonne. The clay and limestone soils produce quality grapes that are vinified traditionally. It is a family-run estate !
