Absurd. I’ve never bought cheap tp. I know charmin is a rip off, but it’s my hang up. This 1 ply airport/gas station crap is definitely not what I’m used to. Do they really have fake tp like fake purses, shoes? 👀 Don’t buy this!!
I've been buy Charmin Ultra Soft Mega Rolls for years, and this specific package for quite awhile through Subscribe & Save. I was disappointed that they (recently?) changed the product. The width is probably at least 1/2" more narrow, and the thickness seems less as well. I compared the width side-by-side with the previous version. As a result - this product is much less absorbent and "necessitates" one to use more of the product. Disappointing that you get less for same or greater cost, with no noticeable change in packaging.
These rolls we're skinnier than the Charmin Ultra we usually buy at the store. We seemed to go through them faster. Also I didn't pay attention to price, so spent more than I usually do. Overall something I tried once and don't plan to do again.
One of the softest toilet papers out there, but it comes at a price - leaves a ton of fuzz on your butt, creating those dreaded dingle berries that get tangled with your ass hair. The red label charmin are better in my opinion. Unless you're into dingle berries...then I would highly recommend these.
I think this toilet paper is soft and there is plenty of it, but ironically, it fits in my toilet paper holder, but it is so full, it doesn't turn easily until after a few layers have been used. In our home, we have the toilet paper holder standalone with the round holder down below to keep a few extra rolls. These are so large, that they won't fit in them, so it has become inconvenient enough, that i have recently removed them from our subscribe and buy in favor of a more normal size roll. If size is not a problem, then these are great.
The paper itself is perfect - always has been. Top to bottom better than anything else. But recently they’ve pulled a fast one and chopped at least a half inch off the width of the roll. Which makes the roll look silly on the dispenser, but more critically alters the expected coverage zone. If this is about cutting costs, just charge more. In the end, it’s the quality that matters most.
