Powerful mini-Stories19 January 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
A litany of very short stories of people's relationships with their beloved pets........ Some were heart warming and some really sad. This is not a book to sit down to and read for hours on end, however. After just a few readings, I needed to take a pause, in order to assimilate and recover from some of the profound stories.

I remember reading this as a kid and I loved it. The stories still make me tear up a little. Love these books and now so do my kiddos.

Chicken Soup for the pet Lovers Soul, a great big warm fuzzy.17 February 2015 - Published on Amazon.com
Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul truly is soul food for those of us who love animals. We already had a copy and the one ordered was for my brother because this is a book that should be shared. This book is full of happy, sad, nostalgic, memorable stories told by people who love their animal friends and have had wonderful experiences with them. There are stories told by the famous and the not so famous. I recommend Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul for all animal lovers.

Second Time Around6 August 2013 - Published on Amazon.com
I had received this book as a gift a couple of years ago, and, Being totally in love with any and all animals, was more than touched by the beautiful stories that more than confirm my stern belief that animals love and problem solve...although there are those hard-nosed individuals that will still place an argument against me. I passed the book along to my sister...also deeply in love with those creatures that God placed in Adam's care so many long years ago. Now I am reading the book, a couple of stories a week, to a group of seniors at a local nursing home. There isn't a lot that holds their attention, I've discovered, but This book keeps them alert and listening.
