Great replacement bulbs - 2016 Honda Fit - H4/9003

Figured I'd give these a try since the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras (halogens) I usually run are around $40.00 and last about a year; these are every bit as bright, give off an excellent spectrum (very white) and the pattern, in a reflector lamp housing at least, is consistent with OEM (halogen) bulbs. Installed in 2016 Honda Fit; sufficient room at rear of bulb for heatsink to not be a problem, but it was not real clear from the instructions provided where the little reflector cup goes (as others have noted, it's possible to put the bulbs in "upside down") - which resulted in the HI/Lo being essentially "reversed". Contacted BeamTech and they sent me a useful pic - which I've attached to this review to help you guys out. If I get at least a year out of these I've saved a few bucks, and if I actually get 30,000 hours out of them I've save a LOT of bucks. Will update this review if they fail prematurely - but so far I recommend these bulbs.
The fog lights (H8) looked so yellow next to these I installed a set of them as well - they are just as awesome!

So this is going to be a little bit of a Long review, but here it goes. Sometimes people will be unfair to the seller when a product doesnt work up to what they expect it to be. The item itself is well made, packaging is amazing, and the plug and play aspect was really easy to install. The LED is a bright white in color and there is a noticeable difference in the amount of light that these are putting out verses the old stock lights. So here is the draw back on the item. When I installed the item everything worked, but as I was driving my car a dash light came on, saying check engine. So I did a bit of research and found out that it is common when using LED because the car thinks that your headlights are burned out because the fact they are using less energy. Well I contacted the seller and this is why I gave them 5 stars. They understood exactly what I was talking about when I told them the problem and to correct the issue they sent me a decoder. The decoder basically tells the car that your headlights are good, bc it converts the proper wattage. The Decoder is $20 by itself and they sent it to me for FREE! I liked the lights so much that I ordered an additional set and the seller also sent me the decoder for those as well at no charge.

9003/H4 Bulb REVIEW!

This reviews is for the 9003/H4 50w 6500k LED Bulbs...

I was skeptical of these. They don't have a giant ballast like all the other LED lights on the market. I have tried all those "We got the best LED's without the bulky ballasts blah blah blah blahhhhh". Needless to say I got tired of trying LED bulbs and decided to pick up GE Nighthawk Platinum's and those are the best Halogen bulbs I have ever owned, besides Hella Bulbs. Hella bulbs are by far the Brightest Halogens you can get, but they burn out rather quickly. So like everyone else in the world with a Honda Civic, you need 9003 Hi/Lo bulbs. These are just that. They have both High and Low beam LED's. Make sure you install them the right way. Yes, there is a wrong way to install them. They aren't a Pure White, but white enough to not look like 6000k light blue HID's. Road Signs become brighter than the sun itself and it covers the road in a white light, that allows you to see while driving at night... I've been flashed a few times by oncoming traffic. The pattern they give is close to the OEM pattern, but with a lot more light. As all white light goes, it's not that great in the rain. I talked with a few local police officers about them and they don't see anything illegal about them. With amazons killer return policy, give them a try and return them if you don't like them.

Finally a good light pattern in an LED light with NO FANS.

I have tried no less then 5 sets of LED bulbs in 5 different cars over the past 3 years. All of them were fan cooled. All of them failed within 2 years. Some dying in less than 2 months. What fails the most is the Fans. THE FANS THE FANS. One set made so much noise on start up I could not believe they were not defective out the box. All of them had horrible beam patterns. Looks like this technology has finally arrived.

The Beam tech has no FANS. Just a very large well made heat sink.
Finally an quality LED light. I have only been using this for one week so I cannot speak for long term reliability yet. The beam pattern is excellent in my 2006 Scion Xb. Both the high and low beams give clear white light with an excellent beam pattern. They are about twice as bright as the stock bulbs. They do not blind on coming traffic at all. They are completely silent.
