After reading the first three chapters, I am probably going to skip the rest of the book and look for other sources, not just for the certification, but also as a literature resource tool. It is not that the content of the book is wrong, but there are so many errors, that it is hard to establish foundational basis about Linux.
For anybody learning about Command Syntax, there are so many errors that you simple have no way to trust any new content discussed. Lots of inconsistencies in the way the text is presented will also make it hard for the reader to grasp important concepts. It seems that this book was not proofread, and the editorial work is totally absent. Questions and answers at the end of chapter reviews are totally misleading, some of the answers confuse you more than you were before reading the content. It appears that this book was taken from a draft document to the press.
This book needs a huge editorial work.
