It's all plastic design with rubber tipped grab arms is a plus. However, the wheels are not sufficient for any PC. The description claims 22 lbs, but my PC is 15 pounds and the wheels do not roll very well on a tile floor. Consider using a plastic chair mat to help roll the cart around if the intent is for rolling ability (especially to keep plugging accessories in and out of the device's rear). If you can't accommodate that, then I recommend a USB hub to give you easier access than rolling the PC around.
I have a small Mini-ITX tower case that is 7.5" x 11" x 10" (WxDxH). This CPU Stand is not really made for smaller size PCs. I'm not sure that it would even work for larger PCs.
The description says that the width is adjustable and it is. But the adjustment is not fixed. There is no way to force the plastic "arms" to remain in the adjusted position. So, every time we move the CPU Stand, the "adjustable arms" or "base" of this stand expands and opens back up and the PC starts to fall off of it.
There is a link to get support from the company, but the link is broken, so no help there.
Frankly, I would have returned this, but the Amazon Return Window closed and now I am stuck with it.
Easy to assemble - not sure why they just couldn't assemble the last little pieces.. Terrible stand for carpet and any decent gaming machine.
I have a H500i NZXT case with all the gaming components. So the weight of my PC and this stand are just not compatible. The stand does not lock-in place, meaning that when I move the stand, it loosens and then it just unfolds on itself.
Have a new desktop that I wanted to keep off of the floor. This did the ticket. I don't move it very much because of the flimsiness of the plastic and it flexes way too much in my opinion. To be fair, this could be do the size of my desktop and this was a lack of understanding on my part. For a smaller, normal size desktop pc this would be perfect, but for my Alienware R12 it just doesn't sit correctly, but it works.
This product bowed after less than a year of use. The casters are rubbish and it never moved easily across the wood floors. I had to be very careful my tower didn't slip off it when attempting to move it. Eventually it started bowing in the middle and the two pieces wouldn't stay together.
Eventually I bought 4 casters from the hardware store and attached them to a scrap piece of hardwood from another project. This has worked way better than this piece of cheap plastic.
I was hopeful... seems like a simple enough concept, it’s wide enough for my PC so I’ll be able to sit my PC on it and roll it around if need be. First of all the wheels and supports you have to attach aren’t all properly sized so one wheel went in fine, 3 of them didn’t. 2 pads worked well, 2 took some elbow grease... but whatever that’s fine. As soon as I sat my PC down on it, the plastic literally buckled. This thing is complete garbage; perhaps if you have a very light PC then go for it, otherwise if it’s a full PC, steer clear of this one
It does come apart sometimes and I have to put it back together, but it's worth noting that my computer is very heavy, and full ATX. If you want something cheap just so your computer can breathe and not be on the floor, this is perfectly fine. It's also easy, and quick to assemble.
Maybe in theory this can hold 22lbs, but I'd say it would not be functional with that much weight on it. Once assembled it just feels flimsy. I wasn't expecting much for what I paid, but these casters are more like skids in that they will not turn once just a bit of weight is applied. I have some spare office chair casters that I thought I might try to trade out, but the stems are too large for the sockets on the bottom of this. Jury is out on whether or not I will keep it or return it. If I keep it I will relegate it to one of my lightweight small form factor computers that doesn't need moved often.
I think the product idea is great! Im the type of person that takes big care of his things and don't criticize much but with this product you get what you pay for. Its extremely weak... I wanted to use it for my gaming computer that weighs about 15lbs and I can forget it. My daughter is using it for her home schooling computer that weighs about 5lbs. Do not spend money on this.
Before I even got the wheels on the two halves started popping apart. Tried to set the tower on top of the cart, and it fell apart three more times. The little bumpers for wedging against the case also don't fit or lay right. The whole thing is a HUGE disappointment.
