I'm sorry...I wanted to love this product. I read "dupe for Laura Mercier powder" and thought YAY I can replace my go-to expensive powder! NO..it's too good to be true. here are the main issues with this product:

1. It smells like old lady perfume/body powder...not needed.
2. The lid doesn't twist tight it just sits on top? Why do that.
3. The white powder fluff "applicator" is again, very old lady body powder-esque..We don't need that included.
4. The color Rosey Beige is just plain weird..you'll never find another face powder in a pink shade that looks more like blush..just bad.
5. It's chalky and it feels like it and LOOKS like it on your face. That combined with the smell? Not something I want on my face all day.

P.S. I recently watched a YouTube video where a guy mentioned how THIS was the brand that made "flashback mary" look it up on google..it's not the look ANYONE is going for.

Just a hard pass.

Amazing, the best fixing powder I have found in 24 years of existence, I have always suffer very oily skin and this powder fixed it for me. When I put it on, my concealer stays put for at least 3 days ( I have tested it)! My cousin spent 55$ on some banana powder and her skin wasn’t as good as mine as she was shocked she bought the powder as well.

I have tried a lot of translucent powders, from free samples of tarte's & Anastasia's to the banana powder from amazon that found its way on every buzzfeed list but I find everything left me looking super cakes and not at all the airbrush finish you see on IG vlogs (I'm convinced it's also camera filters & video edits #staywoke) but then Malibu tried this and couldn't stop talking about it. Everyone in the comments supported it so I had to try and it lives up to the hype. I usually only use setting powders under my eyes but this left such a flawless finish I had to put it all over my face, I'm obsessed!

The scent threw me off, it really does smell like a grandma's house (no offense grandma I love you). I don't have a sensitive nose, but it still bothered me. As for the effectiveness, it's great. Makes my makeup last all day. I have combination skin and it took care of oily issues. I purchased this when it was on sale, but I would not consider buying it again at regular price.

I purchased this while on vacation after leaving my Hourglass loose powder at home. It’s fine for occasional use, but if you have a talc, or fragrance sensitivity, I would pass. It did set my t-zone well, but be very light handed, or you’ll be a cakey mess. I applied will a large powder brush. I’ve seen some mention that this is a dupe for Laura Mercier’s loose powder. I do not find that to be true, but that is my personal experience. For reference, I’m 43 with combination skin.
