These have a good sound quality, but the bass is... meh.
They are compact and modern but I don't like the piano-black finish because it will pick fingerprints and dust easily, so I laser-cut a vinyl sticker to protect them.
The major, most annoying issue is Bluetooth... connection is WEAK: I have these speakers 2FT away from my PC and audio will stutter when playing through Bluetooth. I have had bluetooth speakers (JBL Boost TV, Anker Soundcore 2, JBL Flip 4) in the same room before and none of them had issues, not even when they were 8 to 9FT away from the audio source. The stuttering is so bad that Bluetooth is pretty much unusable for me.
Also, call quality via bluetooth is bad, you can hear other people with heavy audio compression and sound artifacts.
Finally, I have not used the software Creative designed for these, I don't think I need any of its features.
I previously had the high rating Bose Companion 2 speakers, The speech sound was fine, but music was not up to my liking; way too much bass.
These Creative T60 speaker pair really surprised me. The trebel sound is really good and there is a button for speech. I rated the bass only 3 stars, but there is a jack for a subwoofer.
If I forget to turn on the speaker before I connect to Itunes (and maybe the internet) the driver is dropped. However, I can close Itunes and then press 2 reset button on the front of the speaker and all is well.
Cons: I wish the volume knob was also an off switch. Instead, They put a button for on/off/bluetooth, but not a big deal once I got used to it.
Once I got the my desktop's apps and drivers squared away the sound was surprisingly good. Compared to my old Creative T20's no comparison. These blow the T20's away no problem. The buttons on the front are multi use so you will probably need to read the instructions to figure them out properly. The good thing is the instructions are pretty simple. The speakers are 2.75″ full-range drivers with a built-in digital amplifier. My old T20's came with a subwoofer which was soon defunct but the main speaker units (twitters and mids) worked fine for years. Only thing was didn't know what I was missing in the lows, since my woofer had gone out years before. AT my age 68 no buys speakers for thumping base, as long as it has some its fine. The T60 2.0's soon had me caught up on what I was missing which was more than I thought. Feel that the T60 2.0 has pretty clean sound for below $80.00 dollars speakers. Want thumping base go else where.
These speakers make the voice quality on Zoom calls and on streaming videos, both voice and music, clear, which is what I was hoping to achieve. And they look good as well. I did have to connect them by USB, however, as I was unable to get my computer's speaker port to provide good sound. I may try that again sometime, but I wanted to get set up quickly, so I did not take the time to experiment with it initially.
Excellent 2.0 speakers with very accurate sound. My only complaint is the short wires and poor instruction sheet. You have to go on line for decent instructions. Also, I don’t understand why Creative makes quality computer speakers but skimps on short wires. It would be better to charge a little more and give at least eight feet on wires. Other than that I highly recommend these 2.0 speakers.
Stepped up from an ancient computer speaker setup that was so bad that you couldn't even understand some words to certain songs so this new speaker setup had some pretty small shoes to fill... it filled them but sure didn't over achieve. They're a nice setup for the money and I'll just leave it at that.
