Save yourself the frustration of buying these only to find out that the nonstick cooking coating is Teflon and has a host of toxic effects on the body including cancer.
The handle is thin and not ergonomic, nor does the coating last more than 6 months.
These are like buying a shiny new car only to find out that the engine is about to fail in 6 months along with a slow carbon dioxin leak right into the cabin. Hindsight isn't 20/20!
Save yourself time, money, and your health and try to learn all you can about Teflon (Dr. Google is our friend) as well as learning about pans.
What I learned:
1. Teflon is highly toxic to our endocrine system
2. Other frypans like stainless steel can be easily nonstick by using low heat and a good amount of (safe) oil.
3. The longest-lasting and best frypans on the market have no Teflon coating, are pre-seasoned carbon steel which is naturally nonstick and will last a lifetime. Yes, they cost more but are so worth it.
4. The handle fit in your hand is important and should be very comfortable.
4. No product is worth sacrificing my health, no matter the claims a manufacturer pushes onto unsuspecting customers.
I hope you found this review useful.

However, if you want something that looks and feels higher end, I still would not recommend this pan set. For my use, I have a very nice Cooks Standard Stainless Steel pan set and I will only be using these pans for eggs or other easily-sticking items. So, these will work, as long as they hold up throughout the dishwasher without rusting (of which I am somewhat fearful that they may rust due to the other reviewer's reviews). I'll come back to update if they do end up rusting.
------------------------------------
I'm disappointed in this pan set because they look like nice pans but the reviews are accurate - these are not quality pans! For the money, I would expect to have an evenly round circle for the edge - and, I shouldn't have to use my pliers to straighten out the huge dent that came in the rim. These pictures are AFTER I straightened it out. I'm sorry, I didn't think to take a before picture. The quality on these pans is horrible - the edge feels like they were just cut and are sharp enough to cut yourself on - they are not even cut uniformly circular (the pan is cut almost flat on one side instead of being perfectly round). Also, these pan handles get really hot! My higher priced stainless steel pan handles do not. I thought Cuisinart was supposed to be a really good brand for cooking, but I was (obviously) mistaken. Now I know and will not be buying more pans with that name again. The sad part is that I actually purchased these pans, because of the name. I was wrong. I'm sure these will work for awhile but the inside feels more like porcelain instead of the teflon coating I was wanting. I, am, also thinking these may end up rusting (as other reviews have said). On second thought, I will be returning these. I'm very disappointed but need something for now. My next purchase will NOT be Cuisinart. I do NOT recommend this set.
