This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one stopped working after a year and I thought perhaps I had broken it by getting it wet or perhaps dropping it. I replaced it with another loving the look of it and how it had worked. Sadly this one has stopped working as well. Replaced the batteries etc and it's as dead as a Dodo. Really disappointed because I am snowed in and was planning on baking the whole weekend.

Our original Weight Watcher scale began to go flaky so we bought this unit. The bowl that comes with it is very big although it has marks for liquid measurements. It takes about 5 seconds for the scale to turn on, not a huge problem but could be quicker. Switching between pounds and metric units is easy. The pounds display shows ounces and fractions of an ounce (1/8, 1/4, etc) instead of decimal like 1.1. That works well with some weight loss programs but would still prefer a pure decimal readout. The one major issue is when you are weighing something that is almost exactly one ounce, the display goes back and forth displaying 0 and 1. I sort of ignore it now but not sure why the unit does that. Bottom line is feel like we paid too much for the unit. The old WW scale still works and frankly we use it at least as much as this more expensive unit.

I was not satisfied at first. We bought 2. The second scale was to replace the first when it failed after using for about 1 year. The second one lasted less than 3 months
Although outside the Amazon return window, Cuisinart replaced the second unit under warranty.

This is a good looking scale with the bowl used as a cover so it is neat on your countertop. Easy to use and zero to tare or just add more to the bowl till you get the weight you want for each ingredient. Bowl make it easy to pour from it to another bowl or container. Display is easy to read, the only thing that might bother some is that the light goes out after 60 seconds but you can still read the display and you don't loose the weight reading.
Highly recommend.
