5.0 out of 5 stars Appeals to all ages, great gift!

I absolutely love this adorable little book. It is filled with cute illustrations and easy to understand text. It will appeal to all ages.
Lili Chin continues to educate us on reading our dog’s actions.
Note that in the second photo my dog is licking his nose. He is a bit stressed that I am shoving this book near him and he really doesn’t understand what I am trying to do. Poor guy! Modeling is not for him!
This would be the perfect gift for a family who has a dog or is thinking of getting a dog. I could see parents and kids, or couples trying to observe their dog and figure out what he is saying. Anyone who has a dog would enjoy it. Even people who only have contact with friends or neighbors dogs need to be able to read a dog’s body language to prevent any misunderstandings.
So often a pet will be plainly telling us how he feels and we just aren’t observant. That can result in unintended consequences that really are not the dog’s fault.
Thank you Lili for crusading to educate everyone about their canine companions.
I don’t personally know Lili Chin but I follow her on social media and love her posters and portraits. Huge fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous book for dog lovers everywhere
Reviewed in the United States on 7 October 2020
First of all, the artwork in this book is incredible and reason enough to purchase it. Lili Chin's distinctive style brings a playful air to every dog she illustrates in this book. And on top of all the fabulous artwork, it's really an informative book! If you want to learn more about your favorite four-legged friend, this is definitely the book for you. While I do wish it were a bit larger for the sake of the artwork, it is a really portable size that fits easily into any bag making it an excellent companion book when you're out and about and need reading material. 10/10, definitely recommend, corgi-approved!
