I had high expectation for the product. I made sous vide quite often and like the idea of inexpensive vacuum bags. However, I found the vacuum pump hard to use. I had to move around the pump until it hit the exact sweet spot for the vacuuming to start. Sometimes it takes me several minutes to my great frustration. I am much better off just using the water method for zip lock bags. Washing the sous vide bags after each use is also a pain in the a**. I cleaned them by hand and then put them in dishwasher, and I still can't get rid of the remnants at the corner of the bags. Not worth the money and effort! Stick with the old fashioned zip lock bags or invest in a real food vacuum sealer.

I received the vacuum sealer bags. The pump has never worked. I even ordered an extra bag of bags. I was going to use this system to freeze meat. I received this item on July 8th and didn’t charge the pump until 5 days ago. I have tried to charge it several times but it does not work. If the manufacturer could send me a new pump I would like to be able to use the system

If I were rating only the bags, I'd give this four starts. But the vacuum mechanism is totally useless. Mine arrived with a chip out of the lip and won't remove one bit of air. Totally useless. Looks like I just bought some very expensive plastic bags. The clips are nice ...

Really needed this for the large bags, but was disappointed when I vacuumed sealed a bunch of bags and came back the next day to a couple reflated. Tried the couple problem ones and they would vacuum out but then slowly reflate over the next couple days

Edit- Now all but one have reflated and theyve done nothing but sit on a shelf... for almost month. Pretty disappointed with this product

Edit2- now the vacuum device itself wont charge. Added a video. Dont waste money on things like this destined for landfills

I have tried so many times, read instructions and try again. It just doesn’t suck any air out. Too expensive to use them as regular zip locks and this was my only Choise because no matter how I would try the results are the same, no suction at all. I wouldn’t recommend it. I didn’t think about returning it, who knows if maybe mine it’s damage, but it doesn’t suck any air out. Most of the things that I buy on Amazon are good, but this one it’s a (0).

AVOID - Battery blew out after one charge - cheaply made & dangerous

This was working pretty good but after charging it for the second time, the unit would no longer work. I decided to open it to take a look and realized its very cheaply made.
The wires connecting the battery to the board and motor are way too thin and very badly soldered together.
This is a huge hazard and I'm honestly happy it just stopped working as it could have easily started a fire... As you can see part my unit clearly shows sign of burning.

Amazon should not sell such cheaply made & dangerous products. Avoid this at all costs

This little device is very cheaply made. The bags are nice but the tool that sucks the air out the bag is cheap. The first one I purchased lasted about a little more than a month and then stopped charging. My husband insisted I just order another one because we had all these bags and wanted to use them. The second one only lasted about a week and then it would run but didn’t have enough power to suck the air out of the bag. What a rip off. Don’t waste your money on this. Just spen a few more bucks and get a good vacuum sealer.

Bags are fine, but what's the point if the vacuum isn't going to work. It worked well the first few times, but after about a month or two, the vacuum no longer works. It charges and it makes the noise, but there is zero suction now.

Save your money, stay away from this type of vacuum sealer, it's too low quality.
