Inaccurate body composition reading

This scale is well built and the app is full of features. It also takes weights accurately. But it's body composition reading is completely inaccurate. I realised this recently after I ordered a second unit for a friend. He is slightly overweight, and has visible flab in his upset and lower body, yet the machine reads his body fat at 12.5%!! Use it as a weighing machine, but don't depend on its reading for body composition.

I have increased my star rating. Not because I think the product is better but because the company has gone above and beyond to stand behind its product. It’s really a shame it doesn’t work better.

I am amending my review. I’m sorry to say I’m still not happy with this product. I first asked for a refund and instead was sent another scale with very insistent emails from customer service that the product is good and maybe it just got damaged in shipping.
Now I have two scales that I can’t use. They are consistently weighing me and several other people 10 to 30 lbs higher than doctor’s office calibrated scales. The Bluetooth feature works great but who wants an extra 30 lbs recorded on their record!!! One can step on the scale several times without moving it and get variances of up to 20 lbs.
Maybe it’s just not right for people over 300 lbs. The spec says accurate up to 400 but I don’t buy that. I don’t really think I should have to haul two scales down to the ups store but I will if that is what it takes to just GET MY REFUND!!!

Very inaccurate. Five test weighs in a row without moving the scale gave me a thirty pound range. Want my money back.

The body fat % is wayyyyy off. I compared it to a high quality scanner at my gym and this scale says I have 10% more body fat than I actually do. Only good for getting weight.

Beautiful product. I just get a different weight every time I step on the scale. I get on usually 3 times, one right after the other and each weight is different.
