I was excited to find this shelf as it was the perfect size for our bathroom corner behind the door. When I opened the package I was a little overwhelmed with all the parts. I was pleased to see it come together easily with the easy to follow instructions. I took it as a challenge to get it done in 20 minutes and it took exactly that doing it in a hurry. If any part didn't fit well I wouldn't have made my 20-minute goal but it all went smoothly. Thankfully everything fit well and locked together smoothly. I'd expect 30-40 minutes would be typical assembly time.
I'm a little confused by reading some of the other reviews as I feel like the shelf is exactly as described, manufactured with recycled wood chips and resin. From across the room, it looks really nice, when you get closer you can see that it is kinda like plastic with a slightly more aesthetically pleasing texture. If you are thinking this will be an addition to your nordic styled natural wood modern furniture you might be disappointed. If you are looking for something that looks like a small step up from plastic then this will be great for you. Used in a pantry or garage for additional storage it's fantastic.
Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and looking forward to all the extra storage space.
