Large SUV headrest need modifications. Still a good product.

The product does has its purpose but BUYER BEWARE, modification to the mounting points are needed if you have a larger SUV (Chevy Tahoe). It will not reach the head rest posts completely for a secure fit. If it was an inch wider it would be a snug fit. I got it snug by putting some rubber around the post to make them larger. This gave just enough space for this mount to grab a hold. It does work perfect in our smaller cars so it definitely does it’s purpose. I bought this for the kids for road trips and their Nintendo Switch in which it does hold the screen nice and tight.

So all in all, this is great for smaller cars and probably mid size SUVs. But modifications to your headrest posts may be needed in Larger SUVs.

I purchased this for my daughter prior to a couple of summer road trips. Thought it would be much better on her neck rather than always looking down for hours upon hours. Overall she loved it. Our Nintendo Switch fit in there securely and allowed her to sit back, relax, and enjoy hours of entertainment. The mount also gives easy access to the USB C port, so with a car charger, battery life was not a concern. Only downside was that my daughter noted that it was sometimes hard to see the fine details of the screen due to the distance between the mount and her seat. But in my opinion, still better than one of those mounts with an extended arm, which I worry could cause injury in the case of an accident where her face/head would slam into it. Overall, great buy!

My son loves his video games as all kids now days do. When traveling I’ve worried about his neck always being bent forward as he plays. This holds his switch perfect so he can be looking up normal and he can play with either the joycon controllers or his pro controller. I can provide him a hotspot and he can watch YouTube while traveling. Fits the head rest of a 2017 Elantra perfect also fits the head rests on a 2016 4Runner. 3 rows and it fits his normal seat or the headrest for the very back. It provides access to the USB port on the bottom so the switch can be plugged in. It swivels around so he can adjust how he wants it. The adjustment stays put too.

This fits our 2018 Mazda 3 just fine. Most headrests are made to U.S. standards for use domestically. So this should fit nearly every headrest in most vehicles. Larger vehicles seem to have proportionally made headrests. While this does fit between the headrest adjustment bars, it is slightly small between them with just about an eighth of an inch gap on one side. Since our daughter hasn't yet used this in our car, I cannot yet say how it will do on long drives but my first impression is that this unit seems a bit flimsy for holding the Switch upright when in motion. I will update this report at a later date. I hope this helps.
