I'm shocked at how big of a hit this toy is! I bought it as a birthday present for my (human) boyfriend from my dog, as a joke, so they could play tug-of-war. My dog, who normally LOVES sharing his toys (see the picture) loved it so much he didn't want to share it at all for the first few days. It's a big toy, but he's a hulking tank of a dog, so he's fine with it and loves trying to shake it. It's also soft enough that he loves chewing on it, but so far hasn't destroyed it. (It's similar to a Kong.) I don't leave him unattended with it, though, just to be safe. The other perk is that it doesn't make horrific noises when he chews it, like soft toys do. It does make almost squeaky-like noises from his teeth rubbing, but it's not bad.

I'll update if anything changes, but so far it's one of his all-time favorite toys.

Impressive toy! Thick, sturdy, and seems quite durable. It's dense with some flex. Lots of nubs for textural interest. My dogs aren't destroyers, but I think this could handle a good chewing.

My boy loves to play tug of war. He can grip one side and I can grab the other. He can also play with his sister. They can even both grab onto the center. This toy has been an instant hit for my two labs.

Very happy with purchase. Would recommend!

Btw, it comes in a sturdy box. Giftable item!
