The stacking posts do not stay connected when you lift up the base. If you lift up the stand to move it to another location, most of the stacking posts fall off. The previous model had posts that fit tighter. Also there was a base on the previous model. That came in handy when the stand was put on a warehouse shelve rack. This can't do that. As with most things made after 2010....Mfr's may charge the same price...but the grade and performance level have gone way down.

Non-Slip and Perfect Height!

Used this to raise the pedal of my sewing machine to just the right height for when my chair is raised all the way up. The non-slip rings on the bottom of the feet keep it right where it's supposed to be and the lightly textured top keeps the pedal from slipping.

I ended up sending this back because it was too deep for my desk and I couldn't fit my keyboard or anything anymore. The height was good and the material seemed relatively sturdy, but it is definitely plastic. Industrial plastic maybe? Anyway its not a bad product, it was just too long for me.

It's exactly what I wanted, works perfectly, and I like the way it looks. It was super easy to set up - all you have to do it push the legs into the leg holes. The legs don't lock in place, but they stay for the most part because it's a snug enough fit. I'm not going to be moving the stand so I literally don't care if they lock in place or not. The little grips on the legs keep it from moving and sliding on my desk.

So glad to have found these again! I needed them since getting a smaller desk space. The adjustable height is a plus not to mention the freed up space underneath for anything from a pad of paper to standard desk staplers and scotch tape dispensers. The top of the riser adds to needed space as well. Great for any office where desk space is at a premium. One note: the legs on these are very sturdy when stationary so the riser must be lifted into place, not slid.
