With these frozen solid placed into a well insulated cooler everything in the cooler is look warm 4 hours later. The cooler wasn't opened during that time. It wasn't in direct sun. I tried them in a different cooler on another day. Same result. I tried a different brand of ice pack and it stayed frozen solid for 9 hours. Don't waste your money on this brand.

These are some of the worst ice packs I've ever used. They don't stay cold for long at all and that's with using an insulated lunch bag. I have to use 2-3 in one small lunch bag to keep something cold for 3 hours. That doesn't work for me when I'm at work/school all day. I have an ice pack from target that lasts 7 hours. If you need these small ones because you have a small bag (why I bought mine), this may fit in your bag but will disappoint. It does work for short periods of time but if you're a long hauler, look elsewhere.

I love this cooler packs because it kept my breastmilk cold. I also like that its flat giving me enough space to put my freemie cups inside the cooler bag. I work a 12 hr shift and when i get home from work these cooler packs are still cold.

This blue ice didn't work as expected or as described. It melted very fast and didn't hold the drinks cool.
I put 6 out of 8 into a Coleman 16 Can Removable Liner Cooler all together with 4 cans and 6 water bottle inside. All of them were very cool out of refrigerator, but within 2 hours all the blue ice started to melt, and couldn't hold to cool the drinks inside.
I decided to return the product.

I almost didn't get these because the reviews said they don't last very long, but I figure I could return if that was the case. I'm glad I got them because they last just fine in my kids lunches. Granted they only go to school until 1:00, but the ice packs are still cold then. Perhaps if they needed to got until 5:00 it would be a different story, but was great for my kids.

They are smaller than I expected, would be nice to have a rectangular one instead of a square one, but they seem to keep things cool. It's nice to have a bunch of them so if my kids lose or forget their lunch we aren't screwed. I give these the thumbs up, go ahead and get them.
