There have been many reviews of this book and how the ending of the film was completely missing, so when I saw a new publication was being released, I was hopeful an updated version would include the entire story. Unfortunately, this book is the same as what has been released before and has an incomplete ending.

I purchased the book for my daughter, who is a huge Frozen fan and when I showed her the book, she too was quick to point out that the ending was missing. One of her favourite parts of the story is when Anna becomes Queen of Arendelle and for that moment not to be featured, was a real disappointment for her.

I appreciate when the original book was first published, this was before Frozen 2 come out and therefore, I assume they didn’t want to spoil the ending for anyone who had purchased the book before seeing the movie, however, as it’s been over six months now since the film was released, you think they would have been able to include the full story in its entirety. They could have easily done this by adding a few extra pages (four more in terms of pagination if you want to get technical), but maybe that was too much to ask for or expect.

I’m also not happy with the condition of the book I received. I bought the hardback version, however the bottom middle of the cover was damaged on both the front and back and when I opened the book the first few pages appears to have water damage and many of the proceeding pages have slight creases as a result from the initial moisture damage at the front as well.

Despite all of this, my daughter is happy to keep the book, otherwise I would have sent it back, with no intention of getting a replacement.

Nicely illustrated, not great quality paper but ok. Main problem is the book finishes at the bit when Elsa goes off to Ahtohallan after fighting the water spirit missing the whole climatic ending. I can only guess they had to cut the pagination at the last minute and had to round up the ending on one page. Pointless if you have a child who loves the film.

Also an incomplete version. Waited many months for the Big Gold Book version but the final 25% is missing. No mention of this. Exceptionally disappointed. I have a 6 yr old who is upset having waited so long but doesn't want it returned. Poor.

After I bought this for £3.49 ish I saw Disney website sell the original and for less £2.99 which would be much nicer. Not good enough to give away as a gift. Cheap looking. Expected better
