The only one I owned before this was the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen.. I loved it and it was amazing, just that it was hard to use for beginners and it frustrated me. Because of that, I decided to give this one a try! A hard brush tip sounded appealing to me since it would mean more control.. and it was! Not to mention this is so much more affordable than the Pentel one
At first I was frustrated with this honestly because I just sucked....
With a little bit of time, I got the hang of it and I would definitely repurchase this!! :^)
Not as black as the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen, but I love it.
Most people use it for calligraphy, but I used it to line my watercolor art and it was fine! (It's not water resistant so I line after I paint)
I will say it is very easy to learn with and when the ink flows freely, it works like a charm. Maybe I just got stuck with a lemon pen? Given the great reviews on this pen, I would still be willing to try and buy it again. It definitely deserves another shot!
I only wish this pen came in more colors.
