I've always wanted an instant film camera, and this is better than that. It's pretty much the same experience except the ability to edit and apply filters and change the exposure compensation after you take a picture saves you a lot of film that would otherwise be wasted. You don't have to print your mistakes. And, you can make as many prints as you want, so if you take a picture with your friend, you can both keep a copy.
If I could only use one camera for the rest of my life, this would be it.
The one problem. There is no tripod mount. I assumed there would be a tripod socket because the SQ10 has one, the SQ20 does not. That was disappointing. Any instance where a tripod would be helpful so far I've been able to find something about the right height to rest it on, but it's less ideal.
That was enough for me to doc a star. A tripod mount would have made this a 5 star camera in my book. It's a basic thing and should have been a given. I hope Fujifilm comes out with some kind of solution, An adapter or something so that we can use a tripod with this camera.

As for photo quality it could definitely be better, but on a scale of 1-10 I would say it’s a 7.5/10. It doesn’t do as well in darker lighting (even if it’s at night and any light is on), but it just makes the photos look more vintage. I took photos at SeaWorld under natural lighting and the shots were great so it’s even better during the daytime. Either way it’s worth it cause you can always adjust the lighting of the shots you take before AND after you take the photos anyway! And you can print as much of the same thing as you want! Worth the $120 I spent on it! The photo samples are scanned polaroids from my SQ20 camera, the colors are better in person, my scanner just sucks!

I’m quite sad that it is defective since I was loving the feel and quality of the camera for the two days I had it before the disappointment.
I’ve ordered a replacement that will hopefully work seamlessly, but if not, I may exchange it for the sq10 or just return it completely.
