Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon.com

I have had this monitor for just over 30 days. Out of nowhere, part of the backlight stopped working (see photo) whenever the computer came back from sleeping. It could be fixed by turning off and on the monitor, but how long would that work if this randomly was failing so early.
As it was past the 30 days to return to the retailer, I contacted Gigabyte support. Well, it turns out they won't pay for shipping the item for an RMA because it is ... you guessed it... more than 30 days old. So you have your choice, go through RMA or ship back to the retailer, but you better hope your problem appears within ONE MONTH because Gigabyte's customer service is extremely SUB-PAR.
Guess what shipping this sucker back to Gigabyte in California is estimated at? If you guessed veritably the price of the monitor YOU WIN! Quoted at $300 to self ship back to Gigabyte. I'm done with this worthless company.

Now, before you order this on Amazon, please try to select the option to order in Amazon packaging (which is an option in checkout, and completely free). This basically puts your monitor in an extra box. My husband and I ordered a monitor, and it came with the screen cracked (clearly someone had dropped the box on the corner during shipping). We decided to re-order again after the seller was very kind and helpful during the return process. We ordered it again, this time requesting it be sent in Amazon packaging, and it arrived with similar damage to the packaging, but absolutely none to the monitor.
Like I said, this monitor is great. I really trust Gigabyte's brand since I have their rtx 2070 super card currently, and they have yet again exceeded expectations. Idk what else I can say, but I've had a good experience with this monitor and seller. I'll be ordering another one soon for myself.

When you get the monitor, you're expected to screw in (4) screws to attach the base to the monitor.
These screws were not included. The manual doesn't say what size they are either. Gigabyte CS is terrible by phone. I was on hold for hours and they never picked up nor returned the call, I left a message online with them and they got back to me 5 days later, referring to the bottom bracket screw, instead. This is bad. I was very clear about what I said and they just pushed back, referring to another screw which is literally attached to the bottom bracket so there's no way that particular screw would be missing as they would of had to of failed to include the entire bottom bracket from the box. So I can definitely vouch for what others are saying about this companys poor customer service.
Lastly, the internet saved the day. If you buy this monitor and are missing the screws you need to buy size 4 (mm) metric screws. The guy at the hardware store was nice and let me bring a handful out to the car to determine size and length. I know its 4mm (i bought cap heads) but as for the screw length, I'm not sure. I'm thinking they were maybe 1/2" long or close to it.

I'm glad I did because it's the best bang for your buck when it comes to monitors. The picture is beautiful, 165hz is smooth like butter, and the UI is well designed which made everything easy to set.
If you're debating whether or not to purchase this monitor, then you should because you will not be disappointed.
