For reference I am 5'6 140 lbs ordered a medium.

Ordering these in other colors NOW! I thought the butt flap would weird me out, but NO. These are flattering and comfortable and feel like good quality. LULU DUPES!
The back zipper pouch is big enough for my cell phone which is amazing for runs/outdoor activities.

I was unsure of what size to get because I have thicker thighs and wider hips. For reference, I am 5'8" and 160lbs. I got the Large and it fits great around my waist, not too snug, and it fits loosely around my legs and hips which I like! The best part is that they don't ride up when I walk or run! Hallelujah! I probably could have sized down to a medium if I wanted that shorter/sexier look, but honestly I like the full coverage for practical reasons without my bits hanging out. They feel good quality too so I am excited to see how they hold up after washing a few times.

Brilliant shorts. The perfect combination of high, no-gapping waist and airy, tasteful length inseam. I would pay triple for these what they actually cost but thrilled at the price point for their quality and comfort. So much better than lululemon. Waiting for more colors to restock so I can refresh my workout wardrobe with these exclusively.
I went for a 5k wearing these and they didn’t budge, never felt the need to adjust them, and were very lightweight in the 90 degree heat. Safe enough length for leg day lifting and squatting in the gym too.

Has tight elastic band on top

I'm loving the thick waist band trend, its so flattering and holds my post-partum belly in without being uncomfortable. But this however, isn't the case. Although it has a 'thick/wide waistband' it has 3/4" elastic band in the top of the wide waistband, squeezing me in at just the top, making it a tad uncomfortable and unflattering.

If you like that tighter small elastic waist part, then you'll love these shorts, material is soft and stretchy. But its a no for me.

I wear a sz 4 in the Lululemon speed up 2.5 inseam. Bought these in xs which seems about right, the waist in these lookalikes might be slightly tighter, but not by much.

Notable difference is the liner in the knockoff is cut slightly higher, so you may be picking some wedgies more often. The butt is "puffier" so it makes your hips look slightly bigger, but it makes your butt slightly flatter (not as bad as other running shorts, it likely won't bother you)

If you're strapped for cash and want some kick ass running shorts for 1/4 the price -- buy these, you'll love 'em! But if you have the extra cash and are just debating between getting a deal you don't really need vs quality that will last and slightly fits better, I'd go for the lulu version. I'll probably use these as backups and only wear them when my Lulu's are in the wash. Either way, you can't go too wrong!
