I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not but shoppers need to be aware of the possibility of receiving a box of Glad bags that do not match the specifications given in the Amazon website description. We have used a specific version of the Glad 13 gal kitchen bags for years because they fit our trash can perfectly and have been reliable against leaks and tearing. Our preferred Glad bags were 2 ft X 2 ft 3-3/8 in X .95 mil. I searched through all the various Glad products on Amazon to find the exact same bag and the image on this Amazon Glad product is a perfect match. However, the product I received has a different specification: 1 ft 11-3/4 in X 2 ft 1-3/8 in X .72 mil. I attached photos for reference.Reviewed in the United States on 12 October 2019
The new bags are smaller and significantly thinner. This may explain why many of the negative reviewers are experiencing failures in the bags. I reported the website inaccuracy to Amazon, but it's hard to have high confidence with this product that you will receive what you ordered. I'm returning the product since the thinner plastic almost guarantees a weaker bag.
