The company name is "Goliath" and that is a bit of an understatement! This bad boy tree stand is solid and sturdy!!! We typically cut down our tree in the forest and average 14-16 feet and this stand shows no sign of buckle or stress. Setup was very easy with detachable legs and strong adjusting bolts. We first leak tested the basin first and it held water perfectly. Put it on the tree and stood it up with only two legs as instructed (genius!) then put the last two legs on and made minor adjustments. After breaking many other stands, and trying some home brew ideas this stand is a keeper for many years to come. Worth every penny and honestly would have paid more for how well built it is.

This stand isn't too bad. My score would actually be a 3.5 stars if I could do 1/2 stars. The issues I have with the stand are: 1. - The bolts to attach the legs are not the highest quality or robust enough. Will replace after Christmas when I take the tree down. 2. - The bolts that screw in to hold the tree have nuts on the end of them that fall off if you have to readjust the tree. I'll weld those on for next season. 3. - In the bowl of the stand where the tree sets are multiple spikes to poke into the bottom of the tree. An improvement would be a singular spike that then you could drill a hole in the bottom of your tree and insert the stand before putting the tree up. This would help with getting the tree straight also. 4. - Another improvement would be to make the legs of the stand solid. I had to use sandbags to weight down the stand to prevent the stand from tipping. A 16ft. tree is heavy!
Not trying to make this stand out to be a bad stand. I will use it again next year. The next step up is to stands in the $300 price range, and maybe in the next few years I'll purchase one of those. However, I think with a few minor adjustments this stand would be best in class for trees between 12ft to 16ft and a great price.
Super sturdy, so far holding my massive 14 foot tree with over 8inch base just fine. The fact I could put on the legs after putting the tree up was a life saver. Broke 3 stands before ordering this and this one did the job with ease.

This was my first time ever having a real tree. My husband wanted to get the biggest tree he could find so I found the biggest tree stand. We ended up with a 14 or so foot tree and this stand did it’s job. Felt very secure and even handled dogs bumping into it. The legs were long enough to keep it sturdy but not so long that you were tripping over them. The only difficult part was that the legs were not easy to bolt on from under the tree. In order to get the tree upright we left two off until it was standing as per the directions. This was easy enough but getting the bolts in the legs and lining them up under was not an easy task!
Poor quality control. The stand is heavy sturdy and will definitely hold a large tree. The water reservoir is very large however without a lot of hammering and additional tools we could not get one of the legs in because it looked like the stand was dropped at the factory . The box and everything else around it were fine so this was obviously an issue before it was even packaged.
