I have three Staffordshire Bull Terriers (British Staffies, not the APBT) and their appetite for annihilating their toys can only be described as... insatiable. I no longer give them the majority of dog toys sold in pet stores because they will eviscerate and decimate even the most sturdy toys marketed as "tough", "indestructible", and "for power chewers". Kong toys are no match for their powerful jaws. Nylabones are reduced to mangled scraps of hardened plastic. Rope toys? My carpet and vacuum cleaner retain more fibers than the toy does after my three little darlings are through with it. So imagine my skepticism when I heard about the supposedly "indestructible" Goughnuts toy. I've heard that before, and yet those toys were destroyed quicker than it took me to unpackage them. But I thought, "why not?" and decided to give it a try. I've spent more money on toys that lasted a scarce five minutes, so if this one lasted even that long it would be a good investment. I am amazed that this toy is still in one piece! My three wolverines have yet to put a dent in the Gougnuts toy, and trust me, they have tried. Repeatedly. Relentlessly. Desperately. I believe that they must be as surprised as I am that they have, to date, been unable to tear apart this amazing little ring. My alpha, Lotus, has spent considerable time and effort attempting to dismantle the toy, only to be defeated. Riddick, my male with jaws which can effortlessly dispatch even the toughest toys, has met his match. Gloria, the baby of the pack, has determined that the Goughnut, with it's unheard of resistance to unwavering and merciless mauling, must in fact be a rare type of Unicorn and therefore should instead be hoarded and protected as the rare gem that it is. It is the everlasting gobstopper of dog toys. Believe it. Buy it. Love it.

I don't often write reviews but like most of you i have been in a non stop battle of looking for toys my dog cannot destroy within minutes. i had some pretty high hopes for this product when i purchased it especially after seeing all of the reviews. I thought maybe at least it will last longer then a day, Unfortunately i was wrong again. I have a 2 year old Gotti Pitbul who managed to chew this thing down to its core in just 20 minutes. So the toy is very much so destructible. So if your dog has some power and likes to sit and chew this toy is not the toy for you.

Bought this for my dog who is basically Godzilla to dog toys everywhere. She destroys EVERYTHING that we give her to play with. It took her about an hour to massacre the "black extreme kong" toy. Anything with stuffing and squeakers is just a cruel joke to said toy. I bought one of the goughnuts with the mindset of, "at least chunks of goughnuts scattered around the living room will be better than stuffing and squeaker bits everywhere".
It has been almost two months now, and this thing still looks BRAND NEW. She has gone to town on it, to no avail. Her newest ritual is to spend an hour or two licking and chewing it, before giving up and using it as a pillow while she recharges for a new assault. This is seriously THE BEST purchase ever.

My poor pup. Standing at the edge of the water as his toy sunk to the bottom of the lake. We brought his favourite toy to the lake. 4 pups all fell in love it with and had a great time, then I remembered "OH IT FLOATS!" and sent it into the lake, where it promptly sank. They all jumped in for it.. then couldn't find it. Here he is after giving up, he came back to the dock to stare off into the water. I'm sorry little buddy. I thought it floats.

Didn't last a night, my dog chewed through the red in about an hour. Thinking an indestructible toy would have a longer life I left him alone and huge chunks came off which I found in their poops throughout the week. Don't leave your dog alone or unsupervised with this toy. The story is the same with the maxx stick and the ball, they all did this and in a very short time. I recommend the black kong ball for serious power chewers I still have mine and it's been years. I hope this helps someone save their money, life time warranty... You have to pay 6 bucks for each toy you send back for replacement and at the rate my dogs destroy these toys they will have tripled their profit from me before years end!!
