Never did i see anything saying internet is required to play the actual game. Im looking for story mode, like all the other gran tourismos before. Only arcade is available if u dont have internet. Not only that the gameplay is very unrealistic how you get boosts in speed for driving where the computer thinks you should. This game is garbage and the developers knew they were going to be screwing people. Im no longer a fan of gran tourismo.

The game is great on a graphical level, but the game forces you to have an online account in order to unlock race tracks, and new cars. Don't let the low price of the game fool you. It is priced low for a reason... which is lack of available content for the offline player. If you want to fully enjoy the game... you will need to pay for an online account. The fact that the game offers no alternatives to unlock new cars, tracks, and features is why I have given the game three stars. It is one thing to have to grind on a game to earn, and unlock new content, but it is a bit greedy on the part of the developer to require a paid online subscription to do the same thing.

Good simulator. Car performance biased to American cars

One of the top teaching simulators yet. Graphics ok but not great. Outstanding overall physics, but incorrectly done on many cars. Example is a 2015 Mustang GT is nearly as fast on the Nurburgring as a 458 Italia. The 458 nearly impossible to drive, when it's nearly the best handling exotic ever made. I've driven both in real life, and both in game cars couldn't be more wrong. In my opinion, companies paid for the performance and handling characteristics in the game. Most Ferrari's and many other exotics are undrivable, yet American cars known to be awful drive themselves. Big letdown from Grand Tourismo.
